Our Process
DEFINE.
We begin each project by gaining an understanding of our clients’ lifestyles and the way that they use their homes. We discover our clients’ interests, values, project goals and vision. We meet with clients (in person or virtually!) and discover the project site, documenting existing conditions to determine a unique design direction.
Design.
We combine the information we learn with our own vision and innovative ideas to create unique and happy spaces. Floor plans are drawn, furnishing and materials are specified and contractors are brought on board to develop design concepts.
Deliver
This is where the design schemes become reality! Furnishings and materials are ordered. Contractors are brought on board to build. MJG coordinates fabrication, delivery, and installation. Project complete!
About the Designer
Known for her spirited use of color, Mary Jo’s design style can be summed up as happy, family friendly and approachable. While embracing traditional silhouettes and all things blue, she always maintains an eye toward the eclectic interior, marrying the old and the new. Mary Jo incorporates vintage with modern, classic with contemporary, to create warm and inviting interiors that are unique for each client.
Since founding MJG Interiors in 2013, Mary Jo has been creating one-of-a-kind homes for her clients. With expert skills in all aspects of interior design and a unique proven process, her thoughtful design solutions have landed her projects throughout Vermont, including Manchester, Dorset, Peru, Londonderry, Landgrove, Winhall, Stratton, Dover, Mount Snow, Ludlow, Okemo and Burlington.
