I know we aren't supposed to judge a book by its cover, but what about a house by its color? Check out these exterior paint colors. Which one invites you to walk through the front door?

Inspiration can come from your surroundings. White clapboards and white trim is inviting with the proper landscaping and accents.

The modern barn look is popular these days. The dark gray barn board makes the windows and trim pop.

Here is a more traditional pallete. Notice the darker grey in the peaks of the eaves. This makes for a nice subtle accent.

Ware Painting Co. in Tacoma, WA did a great job with this pale yellow exterior. Yellow is tough, it fades in the sun! What starts out as a bright yellow can quickly become the color of butter.
