Day 8: Interior Door Colors!

Day 8 of 365 Days of a Happy Home!

 A few days ago we gave you some suggestions for exterior front door colors. Do you feel like stepping out of your comfort zone a little? Try painting an interior door a bright color. The room really comes to life!

This client was super adventurous for her son’s bedroom. We added a pop of orange (Orange Juice from Ben Moore) on the closet door and the back of the door into the room. We love it! So do they!

Our client likes blue and so do we! We painted the sliding barn door in a blue (Van Deusen Blue from Ben Moore) to work with the sectional, trim on the swivel chair and the blue flecks in the area rug.

Did I say we like blue? This kids bedroom has the added detail of the back of the door and the closet door being navy blue! Ben Moore’s Hale Navy.

This isn’t a room that we created, but thought I’d add it for inspiration! I love how the nail head trim creates the panels on these doors.
