Mary Jo Gourd believes in the eclectic interior, incorporating antiques with contemporary pieces, marrying the old and the new, to create an experience unique for each client.

Color, whether calm earthy tones or vibrant energizing hues, is the common thread that unites each room in a home or hospitality project.

Mary Jo is a compassionate listener who enjoys collaborating with her clients.  Her win-win attitude produces exceptional results for both individuals who have clear goals and families who have varying desires and styles.

Mary Jo's passion for interiors began many years ago when she purchased a stately (but tired) bed & breakfast inn located in Vermont.  This large scale opportunity to experiment with window treatments, bedding, wall coverings, and furniture to create beautiful, yet comfortable and inviting interiors, set her on a path she has delighted in ever since.

After the sale of the inn, Mary Jo created the interior design division of a local architectural firm. In partnership, they successfully bought, renovated and sold several residential and commercial properties.
