Day 114: Living in a Church/Synagogue

Day 114 of 365 Days of a Happy Home!

Today is Sunday and it happens to be "National Back to Church Sunday"!  I was raised Catholic and have attended mass in many beautiful churches and cathedrals across North America.  I have always admired the architecture and appointments.  The stained glass in the old cathedrals is beautiful  So this got me thinking...What would it be like to live in a church or a synagogue?  Here is a peak inside several...lovely....

Fancy living in this old church!

Modern living...

I love the kitchen. But no upper cabinets! I guess when lots of space is available, you don't need them!

Beautiful stained glass and wood ceiling.

This might be too much drywall for me. Love the ceiling!

Interesting, they have a pew on the wall next to the staircase.

Modern space in a former synagogue.

Beautiful space. Love all the detail, but set up as a studio. Might get noisy.
